NEIA ESports Team Takes Second Place!

NEIA ESports shows out in front of big crowd.

On Saturday, October 28, the NEIA Night Owls ESports team travelled to a LAN tournament at Helix Arena in Foxborough next to the Gillette Stadium. They competed in the game Valorant.

NEIA was represented by Tobe, Victor, Avery, Fynn, Jeremie and Sid. During the tournament, there was a variety of other games being competed, such as Overwatch, Super Smash Bros, and Rocket League. There were also many official collegiate teams alongside coaches, scouts, and a whole production team to cover the event.

Our team competed from 8 AM to 6 PM, where they managed to get 2nd place losing to first-place Braintree High School. They got valuable experience competing on the main stage and connected with many high school and collegiate participants on the East Coast. At the end there was a raffle in which our team won several items such as a new keyboard, mice, a jersey, and hoodie. Overall our Night Owls had a great experience and all of them are looking forward to attending the next LAN tournament.
