Financial Aid

Everyone at NEIA believes that innovation is fueled by diversity. The cost of attending NEIA shouldn’t be a deterrent, but rather spark a conversation about how to best work together to offer your child an educational environment where they will thrive.

NEIA is committed to providing our innovative education to a broad and diverse range of students. Furthermore, as a human-centered design school, we have listened to your hopes and concerns about navigating the traditional financial aid process. We are pleased to offer a mindful, dignified, and inclusive model. NEIA offers need-based financial assistance. It is our shared goal that this assistance meets the difference between what a family can afford and the cost of tuition, room, and board and allows all admitted students to be able to enroll.

Families requesting financial assistance should complete the Parent Financial Statement (PDF) for 2023-24 online in the SSS Portal.

We intend to work with each family seeking financial assistance to create a tuition plan that is transparent and equitable. At NEIA, we understand that families need to plan ahead for investing in their child’s education, and the SSS application enables NEIA to take the guesswork out of the process. Families will receive an individualized tuition plan with the admission decision.

NEIA’s published tuition rates for the 2023-2024 academic year for day students are $44,150 for grades 7-8 and $48,730 for grades 9-12, and rates for residential students are $67,050 for grades 7-8 and $71,630 for grades 9-12. In addition, all students are charged a $1,200 Materials & Experiences fee. This fee covers all books and materials, including Innovation Studio, The Hive, all experiential learning field trip costs, and one Collaborations & Strategic Partnerships exploration program.
