Community Impact Club Gives Back to Vets

A heartwarming story happening right here at NEIA!

What a heartwarming start to the week. Marcus, a 7th grader and member of the Community Impact Club here at NEIA, dedicated himself to crafting a plaque featuring the signatures of both NEIA students and staff. With the support of the NEIA community, he also prepared 300 homemade cards. These heartfelt gestures were a tribute to Lieutenant Colonel Kenny, and the cards were presented to the brave members of the 416th Civil Affairs Airborne Battalion. This act of kindness illustrates the strength of belonging and togetherness, a crucial part of our pillars here at NEIA.

We are on our way to the Student Diversity Leadership Conference in St. Louis, MO! This opportunity truly reflects the dedication of each student to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The SDLC promises to be a transformative experience, providing a platform for students to cultivate leadership skills, engage in meaningful discussions, and gain valuable insights into promoting diversity and inclusion within our community.

We look forward to sharing our journey to the SDLC with the NEIA community!
