Congratulations on having your son or daughter compete as part of NEIA’s FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) robotics team! We are thrilled to have them participate in what has quickly emerged as one of NEIA’s premier extracurricular clubs. Parents often derive a bit of joy, if not robotics know-how, by attending FRC events themselves; we therefore cordially invite you to our meets. To that end, we include below a few further details for those to whom this will be of interest.
Fuel for Robotics
The most impactful way you can support our team mid-season is by volunteering to bring food to one of our competitions. If this is something you might consider, please sign up here!
Competition Policies
The main takeaway here is to model sportsmanlike conduct at all times. The FRC league, to their credit, puts a premium on “coopertition” – that is, cooperation and competition – an ethos to which we are wholeheartedly dedicated. In practice: boos are a no, helping others a yes.

Donations
The more resources at our team’s disposal, the better equipped we will be to compete, win, and most importantly, learn. As a newcomer team of limited means, every donation counts. Link here for those who would like to contribute to NEIA’s success on the robotics pitch.
