NEIA Summer Programs gives students a chance to think bigger, build bolder, and discover what they’re truly capable of. Each week, they tackle real-world challenges, guided by NEIA’s expert educators and practitioners, across themes like engineering, entrepreneurship, and AI, in our university-level facilities.
From hands-on builds in the HIVE Maker Space to Friday showcases with family, every part of the experience is designed to grow your child’s confidence, creativity, and drive to take on what’s next.
Summer 2026 Schedule:
July 13 – 17, 2026
Students explore how nature inspires breakthrough ideas in engineering, design, and sustainability. Through hands-on challenges, they apply biological principles to real-world problems–developing creative and environmentally conscious solutions.
This is a combined program where students build a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence while using cutting-edge tools to create original ditigal media projects.
July 20 – 24, 2026
Students are introduced to the engieering design process through rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration. This is a highly collaborative, build-focused experience that mirrors real innovation labs.
July 27 – 31, 2026
Students develop an entrepreneurial mindset by identifying opportunities, building ventures, and pitching ideas. The week emphasizes leadership, creativity, and real-world business thinking.
