The entire Innovation Studio: Creative Intelligence class submitted entries this fall to the World Artificial Intelligence Competition for Youth (WAICY) 2025, the world’s largest AI competition for youth with 132,000 student members representing 103 countries. The competition focuses on students learning about and applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology to solve real-world problems.This year’s competition had 10,000 submissions, and of those submissions Linn Huckaby ‘28 and Sonya Lundberg ‘28 took 5th place in the “AI-Generated Art” awards category. Their project, “Unlimited Perspectives,” examines the ethical tension between observation, preservation, and power in an AI-mediated relationship with history. It imagines an immersive museum where viewers cultivate empathy by witnessing pivotal historical moments as living holographic experiences.
