Would you like an example of how human-centered design (HCD) works? We believe that applying to NEIA should be mutually engaging, informative, and enjoyable. You learn as much about yourself as you learn about our school. Like you, we value learning through doing, playing, connecting, and creating—so we place great importance on getting to know you and your passion through discovery (online or on campus). The entire admission process at NEIA is an extended conversation—full of questions, answers, reflections, and ideas.
IMPORTANT DATES:

March 10 – Priority enrollment decisions release
April 1 – Re-enrollment contracts and deposit due
April 10 – Priority enrollment contract and deposit due
After April 10, NEIA is rolling admission until all spaces are filled. Limited space in some classes. Complete applicants will receive a decision within 14 days.

STEP 2 – BEGIN YOUR APPLICATION
We value the experience of applying to a new school. We intend to make the process of applying fair to families and as seamless as possible. Keeping this in mind, we have designed a straightforward online application process. Get started on NEIA’s application portal. Please note that we also accept the Standard Application Online.
STEP 3 – SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW
At NEIA, we believe that your student’s admission experience should be a learning opportunity: a mutual, candid, enlightening, and engaging discussion. We want to get to know you and encourage you to join us for a conversation. Schedule a virtual Admission Interview today and plan for 30 minutes.
STEP 4 – COMPLETE YOUR FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION
Families requesting financial assistance should complete the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) for 2023-24 online in the SSS Portal.
Families will receive an individualized tuition plan with the admission decision.
STEP 5 – COMPLETE PARENT/GUARDIAN AND STUDENT STATEMENTS
These statements are available in the application portal. Please review your responses before submitting.
STEP 6 – COLLECT OR REQUEST ANY SCHOOL DOCUMENTS
Transcripts: Unofficial transcripts or grade reports can be submitted within the application portal. Applicants to grades 6-9 should submit two years of documentation. Applicants to grades 10-12 should submit three years of documentation.
Teacher Recommendations: Applicants are required to submit two recommendations – one from an English teacher and one from a math teacher. The form will be sent directly to your recommender through the application portal.
STEP 7 – OPTIONAL TEST RESULTS
NEIA is a test-optional school. You are welcome to submit any standardized testing with your application.
STEP 8 – NON-NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS
Non-native English speakers are required to submit a Duolingo or TOEFL score.

$35 application fee for applications received by February 1
$50 application fee for applications received after February 1
