Family Individualized Tuition
Locked-In Tuition Rate
NEIA is committed to providing our innovative education to a broad and diverse range of students. Furthermore, as a human-centered design school, we have listened to your hopes and concerns about navigating the traditional financial aid process, and are pleased to offer a more mindful, dignified, and inclusive model. NEIA offers a range of tuition options with a specific number of placements in each grade. It is our shared goal for each family’s tuition level to be an amount that demonstrates the priority placed on providing an exceptional education for their children.
Our research has taught us that many families assume they wouldn’t qualify for traditional financial aid. The FAMILY INDIVIDUALIZED TUITION (FIT) model addresses the financial relationship between a school and its families, ensuring that the process of affording school is simpler, more transparent, more equitable, and more predictable. Independent school tuition is a significant, long-term commitment for every family, and NEIA understands that families need to be able to plan ahead for such an investment. In order to empower families and eliminate the guesswork of affordability, families learn their individualized tuition price within two weeks of completing the FIT form.
NEIA’s FIT program replaces the traditional independent school financial aid model. With FIT, every family at the school makes a financial commitment to NEIA that is customized and based primarily on their income and assets. FIT is designed to make education at NEIA affordable to families for whom a traditional financial aid structure might not be the best solution.
We understand the frustration and undue burden that hidden fees and tuition increases create for families. To better serve our families, NEIA offers an ALL-INCLUSIVE TUITION MODEL—one that covers athletics, activities, and student life.
As an extension of our commitment to families, TUITION RATES WILL NOT INCREASE DURING YOUR TIME AT NEIA. Furthermore, when moving from NEIA’s middle school to high school, we will honor the published high school tuition rate from the time of your first year at the Academy. For example, the tuition you incur in grade 6 for the 2022-2023 academic year will be the same amount through the grade 8 academic year 2024-2025. Tuition increases will apply each year only to newly enrolled students, who will have their own locked-in tuition rate. Our goal is to simplify the process for budgeting and peace of mind, so you can spend more energy on what matters most—your child’s happiness and learning.
NEIA’s published tuition rates for the 2022-2023 academic year for day students are $40,425 for grades 6-8 and $44,625 for grades 9-12 and rates for residential students are $61,425 for grades 6-8 and $65,625 for grades 9-12.
