NEIA Next Summer: Design & Engineering

Scroll

Design & Engineering Track
The Design & Engineering track is an intensive program where students learn to turn wild ideas into real, working inventions using the same tools and processes that professional engineers use every day. Participants will tackle hands-on challenges using 3D printing, laser cutting, and rapid prototyping techniques. These ideas will then be tested and refined, culminating in a showcase of their creations at the conclusion of the track. Led by experienced engineers and NEIA faculty, students will work through the complete design-build-test cycle, collaborate on team projects, and present working prototypes that solve actual problems in creative ways for aspiring engineers, inventors, and makers of all ages.
