The Summer Residential Life Program Manager manages summer programs taking place at NEIA after school, ensuring a positive experience for all participants. The summer programs are held from July 7 – August 3, 2025.
The position plays a pivotal role in creating a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for our summer students. This dynamic position is perfect for individuals passionate about student engagement, operational excellence, and fostering a supportive environment.
This job pays a $4,000 stipend.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Student Housing & Supervision
- Oversee student accommodations, meal arrangements, and night-time supervision to ensure a safe and welcoming living environment.
- Airport Transfers
- Coordinate all aspects of transportation to and from Boston Logan Airport, working with transportation partners to provide a seamless arrival and departure experience.
- Operations Management
- Allocate student accommodations, manage transfer logistics, and maintain an organized schedule.
- Supervise housekeeping standards and collaborate with Program Activity Leaders to deliver a smooth, fun, and safe experience.
- Team Leadership
- Manage and support the Evening dorm parent team by creating and overseeing weekly schedules.
- Provide clear direction and support to ensure the smooth operation of duties for our young students.
- Student Safety & Wellbeing
- Partner with the Summer Program Manager to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
- Respect and accommodate cultural, religious, and individual needs, while actively promoting wellbeing and protection policies.
- Safeguarding & Compliance
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Leader, overseeing all Health & Safety protocols.
- Address emergencies and ensure compliance with safeguarding standards.
- Emergency Response
- Be available for student emergencies during off-hours, as part of a rotating schedule within the management team.
- Living Arrangements: The successful candidate for this position will be required to live on campus while the programs are being held. However, arrangements for time off campus can be negotiated with the Head of Collaborations & Strategic Partnerships with advance notice.

Education &
Experience
- High school diploma, required; advanced degree, preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience as a camp counselor or student facing-position.
- Experience in an educational setting, preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Summer Residential Life Program Manager does not supervise any other employees at NEIA.
