School Counselor
Lara is a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to supporting adolescents as they navigate the challenges and growth opportunities of the teenage years. With a strong foundation in both hospital, school and private practice settings, Lara emphasizes empathy, connection, and resilience in her practice. She is committed to creating a safe inclusive environment where students feel heard, understood, and empowered to develop healthy coping skills and a strong sense of self. Before joining NEIA, Lara worked at Children’s Hospital in the inpatient, outpatient and emergency departments as well as in private practice supporting adolescents, families, and adults.
Outside of work, Lara enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs and one cat. She loves running, cooking, reading, and hiking.
