BACKGROUND

Cassandra has been an educator for the past eight years with experience as a K-9 department chair at her former school. She is a passionate educator and leader in mathematics education with a goal to instill a love for problem-solving in all of her students. Cassandra has taught English in China and Hong Kong, where she enjoyed immersing herself in the local culture. She loves that NEIA allows her to learn about students from diverse backgrounds and build meaningful connections inside and outside the classroom. Outside of NEIA, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

B.A. in Mathematics from Salve Regina University; M.S. in Mathematics from Tufts University
