Max Steinbrick

Humanities Teacher

Max, originally from Southwestern Connecticut, knew from an early age that he wanted to be a teacher. His passion for interdisciplinary teaching was ignited at Keene State College in New Hampshire, where his favorite classes included European History from 1918-1945, 1960s history through the music of Bob Dylan and Phil Ochs, and the Vietnam War explored through memory and film. Max met his wife at KSC, and they now live in Grafton with their 9-month-old daughter. He continued his education at the University of Bridgeport, earning a Master’s Degree in Education through an internship program. Max has taught in various capacities across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, but his dedication to interdisciplinary learning is what brought him to NEIA. Outside of teaching, he enjoys reading, soccer, fishing, and golfing.
