BACKGROUND

Tamara is a passionate educator from Sydney, Australia. She began her teaching career at the Vietnam Australia School in Hanoi, teaching English and Business studies. For the past 14 years, she has worked at Newington College in Sydney, where she was head of drama and more recently, head of Metcalfe House. During this time, she directed several plays and musicals and relished the chance to work with students and colleagues on creative projects. Tamara also worked for the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) for a number of years as a senior marker for the HSC Drama course. In addition to loving all things Drama and Theater, she is passionate about student well-being and school culture and enjoys working with students, staff, and families to support the academic and pastoral needs of students.
