BACKGROUND
Ms. Kimi Nguyen brings her extensive experience in applied mathematics, data analysis, and student mentorship to her classroom. She began her career in finance, where she used Python, quantitative analysis to support investment decisions and improve data workflows. Her passion for education has been shaped by her experience mentoring and tutoring Boston Public Schools students through Bridge to Calculus, where she primarily worked with students in grades 9–12. She has also facilitated critical-thinking discussions and supported university students in Cambodia through the Harpswell Foundation.
At NEIA, Ms. Kimi will continue to help students see math not simply as a subject to master, but as a method for understanding problems, asking better questions, and making sense of the world.
