What’s the best idea you’ve never done anything with?
I have a running list of passion projects, from launching Bark (an indoor dog park) and Archie’s Café (a much needed, local cafe with great coffee and toasties), to my ultimate dream: a charity sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and comforting overlooked senior shelter dogs.
What’s one task you wish AI could do for you today, and one you hope it never takes?
I wish AI could instantly handle the endless stream of daily emails. I hope it never takes the human element out of true leadership, like working through issues, building trust with a team, mentoring colleagues, and check in calls with my team.

Mrs. Jillian McCarthy brings more than fifteen years of progressive financial leadership experience across both public and private company environments. She has overseen complex financial operations including multi-entity consolidations, cost accounting, FP&A, ERP system migrations, and SEC reporting support. Mrs. McCarthy has served in senior finance roles at companies including Agrify Corp, Wilcox Industries, and Symbotic, where she honed her ability to partner with executive teams, strengthen internal controls, and deliver strategic financial insights. She joins NEIA as Chief Financial Officer, bringing her commitment to operational excellence and mission-driven work.
