During their time here, Wahaha students have delved deeply into sustainability, exploring ways to develop eco-friendly products. Their main assignment involves using bee-derived materials for product creation. Yesterday, they visited the Hudson Hives bee farm to understand beekeeping firsthand from a real-life apiarist, while also visiting their store to draw inspiration from the diverse range of bee-based products available. Additionally, they explored packaging techniques at Seaman Paper, crucial for their upcoming product launch along with other products through a research visit to Whole Foods.
Their focus on sustainability has guided every aspect of their journey, from concept to execution. The peak of their efforts will be the unveiling of their products at Volante Farms in Needham next Friday, showcasing their dedication and innovation. Special thanks to our teachers Tim, John, and Baldev for their guidance throughout this experience, highlighting the profound impact of social entrepreneurship in fostering a positive change.
Another special thank you to Jean and River for all their efforts in making this such an amazing trip for the students.
