How might we encourage students to take control of their personal health and wellbeing?
BACKGROUND
Kathleen (Kat) is a nurse manager who enthusiastically helps students, staff, and families with her positive attitude and attention to detail. Kat believes in staying informed with the latest medical guidance and is committed to organizing her office with the latest protocols and processes. At NEIA, she manages the healthcare information systems, responds to medical needs at school, works as part of the wellbeing team, and collaborates across the school community to ensure a healthy environment.
Kat joins NEIA from the Fay School, where she was Nurse Manager for six years. Before that, she held nursing roles at Milford Regional Medical Center as a Cardiac Care nurse and in the Emergency Room. Kat is passionate about her work and is available to connect with students and staff to ensure the health and wellbeing of all.
