BACKGROUND

Joel serves as the Deputy Dean for Alumni, Development, and Special Initiatives at the Yale School of Management, where he oversees the school’s fundraising and alumni initiatives. He also oversees special initiatives such as Yale’s Center in Beijing, China. Most of Joel’s career has been spent in philanthropy including serving as President of the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and Associate Director of Development at Stanford University. He also served earlier in his career as President and Co-Founder of Rim Pacific, a manufacturing and distribution firm focusing on art reproductions.
