A teacher! I have always wanted to teach youth. I succeeded.
What did you do prior to joining NEIA that has nothing to do with education?
I have always worked with kids and teens. There has not been a job I have not taught in.

BACKGROUND
Ms. Jennifer Callei found her passion working with youth at a young age, always knowing she would be teaching and making a difference in young people’s lives. She found a safe place in Theatre where she learned to express herself and explore leadership skills amongst other skills that she would later spend 12+ years teaching youth of all ages. Through multiple creative arts outlets including theatre and the visual arts, Jen has led workshops, classes and camps all over the Metrowest, however mainly developing programs in Norfolk, Massachusetts. Having been through many challenges in life, Ms. Callei also found a passion in community service and making a difference in the lives of people struggling. Ms. Callei’s role at NEIA is currently the Community Life Coordinator and Theatre Teacher, where she hopes to bring and spread a sense of belonging and kindness.
