Carrie Whitney

Science Teacher

Carrie is passionate about creating hands-on learning experiences that bring the curriculum to life for students, particularly in the realm of estuarine ecology. With over 20 years of experience as an educator and administrator in independent schools, Carrie has taught both middle and upper school science, sharing her love of marine and estuarine ecology with her students.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, and cheering for NCAA Women’s Basketball, especially the UConn Huskies, as well as the US Women’s National Soccer Team.
