Summer months are loaded with free time to explore new passions or adventures. With this in mind, NEIA is delighted to offer a unique language immersion experience as an extension of our continuing partnership with Dartmouth College’s Rassias Center for World Languages and Cultures.
The Global Immersion Week at NEIA will feature two program options, one for Spanish language immersion and one for Mandarin immersion. Each language will have two levels: a beginner level and a more advanced level. The week will feature the Rassias Method® of teaching language through a specific series of procedures and dramatic techniques that engage students in deep language learning and cultural experience. It is a wonderful opportunity to start to learn a new language or keep language skills strong through the summer months in preparation for the start of the school year. Each day, students will have language learning coursework in the morning, followed by lunch, a wellbeing activity, and then an afternoon cultural exploration. Each cohort will be offered one field trip activity.
