Angel Jackson

Executive Function Coach

Angel is a professional Executive Function, ADHD and Life Coach with extensive experience in strategies to support neurodivergent learners. Early in her career, Angel taught middle and high school students at an academic and life skills camp that utilized brain-based learning.  She got the chance to travel with this organization throughout the US as well as in Mexico and Malaysia.  This experience set Angel on a quest to understand the diversity of ways brains learn and how tapping into that can change everything for the learner.  Angel spent 15 years teaching in the homeschool community, creating engaging, student-driven learning experiences and opening up learning opportunities to students who had not found success in traditional learning environments. She has also worked in management roles in non-profit fundraising at the American Diabetes Association and taught children from preschool to high school in many non-school environments. Teaching a wide-range of subjects in a diversity of environments has helped her see learning in a holistic, learner-driven and real-life applicable way.  It is this view of learning that brought Angel to NEIA.  Angel is passionate about helping people discover their strengths and supporting them as they lean into those strengths to reach their goals.  When not at NEIA, Angel enjoys being with her husband, 3 kids, dog, cat and chickens, working in her garden, reading historical fiction, and doing yoga.
