Emma comes to NEIA with a keen interest in school improvement. She has experience teaching middle and elementary English Language Arts and Gifted Education in public, charter, independent, and international schools. Most recently, Emma was the Director of Innovation at an elementary school in Media, PA where she helped integrate the innovation lab and the innovator’s mindset into the school’s mission, pedagogy, and curriculum. Her interests are organizational change management, innovation in school, innovative school models, transformational leadership, and human-centered design. She is consistently impressed with the courage and dedication of the NEIA students, faculty and staff, and families as they design the new school of their dreams. She is honored to be a part of this community.
