Maggie has wanted to teach since she was in second grade. That was her Halloween costume, she dressed as a teacher. She is passionate and dedicated to education and loves it when students are inspired and engaged in learning. She believes that schools today should be a space where students thrive and teachers inspire. She has over 25 years of experience in many facets of education. She started her passion as an elementary teacher, curriculum director, vice-principal, teaching consultant and served on her hometown school committee. To Maggie, the school’s best assets are the students in it! She is a proud parent to two amazing Founding Innovators.

EDUCATION

B.S. Education, State University at Oswego; M.S. Educational Leadership, The College of New Jersey

WHAT SHE’D SAY TO HER 15-YEAR-OLD SELF

Always bring your best self forward. Be confident in the great things you are able to accomplish and never let negativity bring you down or the insecurities of others. Raise yourself, raise your voice; no one else can do it best but yourself. Most of all, be a fun and happy human.
