Master Design Teacher
David Dixon was Director of Creativity and Design for six years at Fay School before arriving at NEIA. He came to the US in 2015 from the UK, where for sixteen years he was chair of Design, Technology, and Engineering at a leading independent boarding school in the south of England. David started his career teaching in middle schools before making the transition to secondary education in 1991. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, David was awarded Subject Leader in Design and Technology in 2015 from the Design and Technology Association of Great Britain, in recognition of his role as an Educational Technologist. A passionate advocate for responsible design and sustainability, David is an exponent of human-centered design and play!
